HISTORY
Thomas G. Zaugg opened his Architectural Office in April of 1950 in the house he designed and built at 1121 Lexington Avenue, Mansfield, Ohio. Like all architecture, the house expresses the character of the people who designed it by incorporating unique design, energy efficiency and a quality of effort. In the ensuing years, Tom Zaugg set the standard of design excellence and professionalism in the north central Ohio area. The architectural firm relocated to 60 South Main Street in downtown Mansfield on the ground floor of the restored Drackett Hotel Building. Over the years, the firm completed over 300 projects ranging from large corporate, commercial and governmental buildings to small office, recreation, church and residential architecture. In 1998 the firm name was changed to Marion Zaugg, Architect & Designer,as Marion L. Zaugg carries on that tradition as principal and owner. The firm continues to look forward to serving their clients and community with the same dedication and standards set forth by the founder.
